I always knew that I grew up in a special place. The beauty of the island is unmistakable, and very special. I remember spending all summer on the beach with I was a kid.
We played in the sand....

Played in the water...

Searched for treasures...

And spent time with family.

Life comes full circle. Thoughts while watching my children play at Crescent Beach.

these are great, deb. making me antsy for our own summer to start.
i can't help but think how cool it is that, there you are with your twins...and on the other side of the country is Jamie and her twins. Both your pictures are so similiar....both wonderful to look at!!
Hi Deb,
I consider that a lucky childhood to have grown up near the beach! Your photos are beautiful, and I love how you thought and shared the idea of life coming full circle. I bet it's fun to be able to take your children to the place where you grew up.
My dad was in the military, so we moved every year or two until they were divorced. Then I was definitely landlocked until I was in college and took myself to the beach.... which is where I'm off to next week!

the beach looks great and the kids look like they are having such a wonderful time - they look so grown up!
I yearn for the beach almost daily; grew up not that far away, and took my children often when they were little. Now we live in the desert, and maybe get to the beach once a year. It's not enough.
Your pics are awesome.
What a fabulous circle of life. I'm leaving soon for La. which is where I grew up. I love to see Kman enjoy places I enjoyed at that age!
I love all these pictures...Thanks for sharing!
July 1 can't come soon enough for us. That's when we take the kids up to the beach for 6 weeks...I hope Mr. Sun is there the whole time too! :)
I love doing things with my kids that i did as a kid.
Ahhh, your pictures give me hope of someday enjoying vacations! Last time I took my twin boys to the beach (in April) I had all I could do to stop them from eating sand and then screaming about it!
